We're saying curtains to our curtains...

Pair of good quality, heavy, lined curtains available. ?50.

Traditional pencil pleat - 8cm heading with three hook positions.

These curtains were a perfect fit for the front bay window of our 1930s home. The windows stretch across the entire front of the house so very wide curtains were needed.

DETAILS

Drop: 1.78m

Width curtain 1: 203cm (gathered) / 400cm (ungathered)

Width curtain 2: 208cm (gathered) /410cm (ungathered)

Colour: beige/biscuit

Style: Solid colour, plain (no pattern/embossing etc), heavy cotton?

One curtain is slightly wider than the other as it used to wrap around the side window on the bay. If you have narrower windows and are handy with a sewing machine you could alter them accordingly - there's a generous quantity of fabric to play with! If your windows are wider you could adjust them so there's less of a gather.

Not 100% certain of fabric (the label with fabric details is missing) but it feels like heavy woven cotton. Dry clean only.

In very good condition - no tears etc. A few scuff marks that could be removed with a dry clean.

From smoke-free, pet-free home.

COLLECTION/VIEWING

Forest Hill. Evenings and weekends preferred.

If of interest drop me a line.

Sorry the pictures aren't great - should have photographed them when they were up rather than when they were down!

Curtains still available.

They were a good fit for windows this size (approx):

Front bay: 3.42m (wide)

Side bay: 0.65cm (wide)

Height: 1.67cm

Might be the above info is useful? If you're in a similar 1930s property to us (very large flat window stretching across property front) and are looking for some neutral well-made curtains take a look.

Thanks.

Last call before these head to a charity shop.

Pair of good quality, plain, neutral-colour curtains. Likely to be an ideal fit for a 1930s home that has a wide living room window (square bay rather than round).

Plenty of fabric to play with if adjustments are required.
