rising damp

anybody out there do a rising damp treatment ? ( dryrod maybe)

The rear of my house has a damp wall that was treated about 24 years when we moved in but has stopped working

Couple of things:

1) is it definitely rising damp? Various things you can do to figure this out, such as salt test analysis. Could be bricks need repointing, or a leaky roof, or badly sealed window, etc.

2) is there good drainage. Sometimes plants, etc, left against a wall can retain moisture. Also worth paying attention to soakaways, guttering & drains.
