siomcc
Well, anyone out there have any ideas? We're looking for something not too far away so we can get back to our lovely families in the evening. We know about the santuary so any other ideas would be most welcome. Thank you Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23334-help-stressed-out-mum-looking-for-spa-days-close-to-london/ Share on other sites

nunheadmum
If you want a day away, Bailiffscourt Hotel and Spa at Climping (south coast, near Littlehampton) is nice - you can get to it by train from Victoria, so a non-drive option. It's by the coast so you can go for a walk by the sea. The spa treatments are lovely. And there's an outdoor pool as well as an indoor one.The hotel is nice too with a good restaurant so a good one for a real break from the kids.http://www.hshotels.co.uk/index.php?id=12 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23334-help-stressed-out-mum-looking-for-spa-days-close-to-london/#findComment-542370 Share on other sites
Norfolkvillas
I haven't personally visited either (unfortunately) but I bet the spas at either Coworth Park or Syon Park are top notch. The latter prob just under an hour's drive from Dulwich, Coworth perhaps slightly further?http://www.londonsyonpark.com/spa/spa-intro.phphttp://www.coworthpark.com/spaFor something in central London, I hear the Espa spa at The Corinthia is 4 floors of amazingness: http://www.espalifeatcorinthia.com/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23334-help-stressed-out-mum-looking-for-spa-days-close-to-london/#findComment-542376 Share on other sites
Browncoffee
I would highly recommend Grayshott(Surrey) and Rowhill Grange (Kent). Approx. an hour drive from Croydon (where we drop our little one off with grandparents:-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23334-help-stressed-out-mum-looking-for-spa-days-close-to-london/#findComment-542380 Share on other sites
sunbob
Seconding Rowhill Grange http://www.alexanderhotels.co.uk/rowhill/We had our honeymoon there and it was so relaxing to just take a twenty mile taxi journey rather than the stress of the airport etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23334-help-stressed-out-mum-looking-for-spa-days-close-to-london/#findComment-542420 Share on other sites

katgod
Rowhill combined with a trip to Bluewater, perfect. Rowhill is half an hour and another world away, closest one I know of. Or check out the spas at the big London hotels- Dorchester, mandarin iriental type places if time is short and money no object Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23334-help-stressed-out-mum-looking-for-spa-days-close-to-london/#findComment-542588 Share on other sites
