Free range meals on Lordship Lane?

I had lunch there quite some time ago and found it to be truly average. Maybe it was a bad day but I've never been back.

Maybe it's better in the evening? Can't say for definite as haven't been there of course. As it's my closest restaurant I should take a look in and then can report back and compare notes

We sometimes go to Jack's and Springer's - both run by extremely friendly people and delicious food in both.

Many years ago before the influx of the more affluent media types arrived in ED there was a great cafe/eatery called free range it was great for Sunday brunch alas it has been shut for many years, I think it's the noodle house that's in it's place, if it were still there today I bet it would do a stortming business.

A query I have is all William Rose meat organic and free range? as they advertise that they sell organic and free range but this is quite different to stating all meat is organic/free range can anyone enlighten me?

I had a look at the sign in Springer's last night and could no longer see anything about it being free range meat - did I dream it?
