Pool fun

Is there a pool nearby with water slides and other fun things for kids to take part in?? I know I went to one some time ago but can't remember where it was or what it was called.

The last few times I took my kids there, the water chutes were closed. No staff to supervise, I was told. Cuts, cuts, cuts.

oh dear that does not sound good. And which pool is it (leisure or main?) looking at timetable not sure which is which

So far as I know there's only one pool at Wavelengths. In fact, there *is* only one, unless they've build a second one and given the cuts, I very much doubt it.

The Glades in Bromley has slides and a wave machine, though min height on main chutes is 120cm (I think)

I was at Wavelengths Deptford not too long ago. I understood that water chutes were closed for repair. Significant repair works were undertaken this past winter. I don't know if they are open yet, or if they are now affected by staff cuts. The Wavelengths pool does have a wavemachine and bubble fountains, plus a very shallow area for youngsters. (And water not as cold as ED pool.) There is a 25m pool for lane swims in addition to the leisure pool, no?
