How busy are ED curry houses on a Sunday?

My brother is coming to ED tomorrow from the south of France where he lives and he fancies a curry. He did live here for a while a good few years ago. Not being a big eater outer I want to know please if everywhere is busy on a Sunday evening and you need to book. Thanks.

PS your vote for any particular venue will be appreciated though the Curry Cabin was the one he ate in a lot in years gone by. He might get sentimental!

Most of the curry houses (the CC included) do the fixed-price buffet thing for Sundays - might want to check to see if they're also doing the usual menu before going.

I would go for the Dulwich Tandoori - their Sunday buffet is always spot on.

Not strictly ED or traditional curry house but we went to Ganapati (South Indian) on Bellenden Road on Friday. It was lovely and they managed to find us a table despite no booking.
