Daniel came with his dad couple day ago all the way to New cross (almost Deptford) and within minutes fixed our washing machine that wasn't taking the fabric softener (it just needed little cleaning but I wasn't able to do it myself). Happy with the service, wish it was cheaper but got discount from the fixed price so shouln't complain! Thanks again, our laundry smells lovely again! smiling smiley
Just wanted to recommend Daniel from Dulwich Plumbing and Heating - 07879 220447. Found his number here on the forum. We had a badly blocked bath, and when I called him he offered to come round the same evening. Turned up promptly, fixed the problem and volunteered a number of other helpful pieces of advice while he was here. Really friendly, tidy, would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

I called Daniel about my bathroom taps and a possible tap installation for a garden hose. The service that I received was exemplary, efficient and extremely good value.

I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again.

Their no. is 07852 757654

We had a run of leeky pipes and used them twice in the last month and they were great both times. Fast, tidy, polite, easy around the kids and most importantly a fair price. Ps I'm not a newbie.

    • we actually need growth. It may be counter intuitive, but we need investment.   my example is about poor financial management, be it personal or central. I'm referring to poor government financial management.
    • This is to conflate household budgets with government budgets. They are very different things  a large part of the anger felt across the country is the decline in public services after a decade and a half of austerity.  You cut more you get more ugly anger  Of course people need to be persuaded to pay more - but that is only realistic path. You cut more you will find out the hard way
    • The question marks are far poore
    • I think one could argue that degrading public services / infrastructure is what's led to our current, slow economic decline. We've spent 14 years trying austerity, and it's proven counter productive to growth and productivity. A successful economy and society needs good transport, education and early intervention health care. On taxes, it depends how you target them. Tax funded spending may be a positive fiscal multiplier. Taxes on work aren't great, or when they hit the poorest (who tend to spend most of what they earn, boosting economic activity). We need a well designed wealth tax (on idle assets), and stronger measures to target avoidance.
