nunheadmum
Anyone know where I can get nice stones to use for a golden time / reward scenario? We have odd stone collections but not enough for any prolonged period. Also thought that nice shiny / coloured ones may motivate older one better. I'm trying to encourage longer term good habits rather than just a short-term result so thinking I may need quite a few! EDAus
Holts in Hatton Garden (http://www.holtsgems.com/) had some really nice polished stones in a box for ?1 or ?2 pounds when we visited one day. Plus they had a children's lucky dip. Long way to travel but if you call them they may send some via post. EDAus
The other place to look is Amazon the stones are much cheaper - search for something like tumblestones or crystals. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tumbled-Stones-20-Mixed-Tumblestones/dp/B0038NX26A/ref=pd_sim_k_h_b_cs_4http://www.amazon.co.uk/Assorted-Tumble-Stone-Crystals-Organza/dp/B001E33HY8/ref=pd_sim_k_h_b_cs_1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23777-good-behaviour-stones/#findComment-549860 Share on other sites
prickle
There are pretty stones at Just William. Recently they had egg sized anthracites (?) that you can crack with hammer and a proportion has pretty crystals in the middle. Don't think they were expensive.
