A space will be available in the New Year in the private nursery I run from the garden flat of a lovely Victorian property situated on the tree-lined Marmora Road, close to Peckham Rye Park in East Dulwich SE22.

There is space for parking and a bus stop is located just 2 minutes walk away which is served by the 63 and 363 bus routes direct to Peckham Rye station and Honor Oak Park Station is also within a short walking distance.

The entire property is given over to childminding and has the unique advantage of providing a home environment which has all the resources of a larger nursery including a range of play areas, nursery sized tables and chairs, separate cot room, 200ft garden and a 30 sqm purpose-built school room which has been equipped with toys, games and learning resources with all ages and abilities in mind. The property is protected by 7 ft security gates and a 6 ft wall surrounding the garden area.

The nursery is run by experienced and highly qualified staff and between us we have the necessary skills and expertise to ensure that your child receives the best level of care possible. We also understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing environment during those all important formative years.

Working in partnership with parents is fundamental to ensuring continuity of care between the setting and the home environment. We also acknowledge the important role you play as your child?s first and most important educators and will work closely with you in order to support your child?s learning and development so that they can achieve the best possible outcomes during their time with us.

    • This is very useful. I've reported it on Crystal Palace Road as its in lots of places on this road as you turn from Upland Road /Northcross Rd towards the leisure centre. I agree with the original poster, pick up your dog mess!!! And also don't shove bags on the pavement or in the top of bins. Some people behave like animals.
    • I reported it when it first sprang up and found it really unusual they were so slow.. tho I think they've changed their reporting systems and possibly computer systems and admin staff side which would explain the delay. To be honest I find it so SO rubbish that they just mend leaks when they spring up and the endless works never seem to be lasting. It was only last year they did repairs lasting many months in that part of Lordship Lane. Yet we all now have water meters and are charged ridiculous amounts for poor services. I'd renationalise if I had my way.
    • How long will it take Thames Water to sort out the small river flowing down Lordship Lane from around North Cross Road towards Goose Green?  Get ready for some serious road works and disruption.
    • So, on Saturday, we suddenly had a leak through on to our bedroom ceiling, with water falling onto our bed. In a panic, we messaged friends to try to find a reliable plumber who would be able to help. My oh my, did we need help. One of our friends suggested Nico; she had been a client of his for a while and recommended him very highly. Nico was unable to come during the day but said that he would visit our home in the evening. The flow of water had stopped but we kept our fingers crossed that he would turn up and that he was affordable. Nico arrived just when he said that he would, climbed up into the loft and then he explained what he was going to do and why. We agreed, the source of the leak was sorted and he gave us advice about how we could make sure that it was unlikely to happen again.  The price of the work was totally reasonable and we are genuinely grateful for his intervention. We intend to use him again and would always recommend him. Aside from his highly professional behaviour, his social skills are outstanding, he is a kind and thoughtful man. Dear Nico, thank you.
