Extremely high hair salon prices in ED!!!

Recommended Posts

British Colourist of the year in central london charge ?41 for a semi permanent and??131 for a full head of highlights..

East dulwich salons are charging ?50 for a semi permanent with thier top colourist and ?135 for a full head of highlights...

Wow.. How do ed salons justify those prices... Can you really compare yourself to the likes of the British colourist of the year???? I mean really!!!!?

They are currently British hairdresser of the year, british colourist of the year and british artistic team of the year.

Just wondered how ED salons can justify prices higher than there's when they are not in the same league?Hob salon

Shingo at Kuki is the best cut I've ever had round here.

?40 for a cut, don't know what they charge for colour.

Indeed, Christel Lundsqvist at HOB Salons did win Colourist of the Year at the 2011 BHA awards. BUT, don't think for one second that if you went to her you'd be paying ?41 for semi permanent highlights. That price would only be offered to you if you went to a junior colourist, and there are no guarantees that you'd get a better end result than if you went to a salon in East Dulwich. I agree that overall the general standard of service provided in ED could do with improving massively (ditto the customer service which can sometimes be DIRE) but the prices you pay here are not over the top. In comparison with most West End salons, they're 30-40% cheaper. You can argue that perhaps West End salons charge too much, but, as with many things in life, youz gets what youz pay for. As for HOB, book in with a senior/director level colourist and ask the price. It won't be cheap. And why, BTW, is HOB trawling for business in East Dulwich?

No the prices I put are the prices that the top senior colourists at hob charge, and all of them are trained by the colourist of the year, I'm not saying you will get her for that price but someone that had been fully trained by her...and still a top colourist.

My point was ed should not be charging more that great west end salons when they do not compare on the scale of ability nor customer service and experience yet are charging more than....

The top stylist prices are still cheaper than the best in ed..

Why is this? No one is trawling for buisness I am using them as an example BECAUSE they are current British colourist of the year so therefore highest respected current hairdressers in that field so something to compare to..

Could also use Toni and guy or Vidal Sassoon but they are not currently at the top in the bha awards yet still will all be lower priced than the highest price in ED this is my point..

It makes no s?ance

OK, Hobsalons PR. As you are so keen to rubbish local salons here, name names! If you have issues with any salon(s) in East Dulwich in particular, tell us which one(s) and why. Having looked at your price list, obliging posted online, actually you ARE more expensive than many places locally. Seeing as the closest Central London Hob Salon would be Baker Street, I thought I'd give you their price list here OOPS. Cheaper than ED? FAIL.

Ok so it says that baker street is ?160 so ?30 dearer in this instant but still that technician would have been train ed by top dog... Still well worth it..

Your really missing my point... My point being in genral ed prices of the ?top? salOns are way too high...

Central Londonds rates will be through the roof so can understand them being expensive and most have the technical training to warrant their prices...

ED does nOt

And no I am not a hob pr ... I could have used many a salon to use as an example intact later I shall put tOgether a tally of highest I'm ed and the standard in central..

I explained my reasons for using them as a comparison..

Funny I must work for hob because I discuss them in relation to local salons.. Lmfao

If I now give Toni and guy salons prices will I also be working for them too.. I think if I was Hob pr I wouldn't be giving one price if another was available to be found.. I simpler googled their price list...

    • Where did I say he did a good job? Yup and Corbyn was very close to Len McCluskey and funded by Unite wasn't he...they're all as bad as each other... Labour have to purge their party of the far-left - they're a disaster. Allan Johnson summed it up so well on election night in 2019....
    • Thank you for the detailed advise @trinidad It is definitely damage we are concerned about. I don’t think Evri would agree to pay the bill to fix our gate or letter box if they were to be damaged as a result of their delivery drivers helper. Our doorbell can be heard from outside when rung so we don’t quite believe the aggressive simultaneous door/letter box banging is necessary. It can be quite a shock it is done very aggressively.  I’ll definitely action the steps you’ve kindly provided along with a phone call tomorrow. I do sympathise with the role drivers have and how busy they are, which is why we tried communicating directly with her but sadly we haven’t succeeded
    • What outcome would you like? Disciplinary action? Not to have the driver back? Retraining? I know there is alot of pressure on drivers to deliver within a set day. if he slams the gate, is it evidence he is causing damage, or is the noise a irritant to yourself? You could put a sign up or buy a signing asking to close the gate gentle???? can you hear the door bell from the door? he might be ringing, not hearing and therefore knocking. In trhe notes section of the be livery page, there is a note section, although there is not 100 per cent these notes would be read as these drivers are constantly rushing.  I did a google search for you, i found this and you can try the envri website Contact Us | Evri   To complain to Evri, you can follow these steps: Contact Customer Service: Call Evri's customer service at 0330 808 5456 for assistance with your complaint.    1 Write a Letter: Address your complaint to Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 0WH.    1 Use the Official Website: Visit the Evri complaints page on their official website for detailed instructions on how to submit a complaint.    2 Email or Call for Specific Issues: For issues like missing or damaged parcels, you can email or call 0800 988 8888, which is free to call.    1 These methods will help you effectively communicate your concerns to Evri.   My driver is called anthony, he is brilliant to be honest. I cant fault him.
    • When I have more time and energy, I will look up the actual number of votes cast for each party in that election, rather than the number of seats won. I'm interested to see that you apparently  think that  Boris Johnson did a good job of "leading the country through Covid." Is your memory really that short? I won't stoop to calling Johnson and his cronies names in the way that you seem to think is appropriate for left wing politicians. At least the left wing politicians have some semblance of morals and a concern for people who aren't in some over privileged inner circle and/or raking in money for themselves on the back of an epidemic. I'm not going to open a can of worms on here  by commenting on the disgraceful so called "purge".
