Certainly washed her hands of her husband when he was tarred with the Berlusconi brush. "For better or for worse" -- same approach to marriage as to Old Labour principles: If they get in the way as you climb, jettison them and don't look back. Appropriate that her honour is handed her by a Tory government.
It is indeed simplistic, as her 'ditching' wasn't as cut and dried as that word suggests. They were and are regularly seen out together, as a cursory Google will reveal... Cycnics might suggest that her 'ditching' was a politically motivated temporary expediency.

OK, if there are others who don't live on their patch I withdraw the "Only" part of it (incidently, being mistaken isn't quite the same as lying, e-dealer). And who are the others?

But I hold to my point that an MP should live in their constituency. Can anyone explain why she shouldn't?

    • East Dulwich is very well served for green spaces although that doesn't preclude the creation of more.  Just wonder where the land would come from to create new green spaces - the priority for any available land would be for housing.
    • Tried Janda. Hits and some misses. Chicken Satay & Beef Rendang were excellent and spot on. Stir fried rice noodles (Kuay Teow) were unexpectedly swimming in a peanut sauce and sadly very overcooked.   They were absolutely swamped though (assume because of the excellent recent review) so wonder if quality was affected by that… would definitely go again and try more things, menu was full of interesting sounding dishes.
    • Just wanted to say how great it is to see so many people talking about local issues here. It really shows how passionate and engaged the community is. I moved to East Dulwich a couple of years ago and have loved seeing the area evolve. The local businesses are fantastic and it’s always nice to run into familiar faces when out and about. That being said, I think we could definitely use more green spaces for everyone to enjoy. It would be great to see more events or gatherings where neighbours can meet up and make the most of what we have. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
    • According to someone who knows, there's a broken sewage pipe from the flats above that is leaking behind the wine/sandwiches fridges. Why it's not been shut down, I don't know, as that is effluent seeping into the booze aisle.
