Odd phone lines and cables - recommendation

Hi folks,

We seem to have lots of phone cables around the house that we think no don't serve any purpose, but are reluctant to pull out.

Not sure if it is a job for an electrician or a telephone engineer?

Any recommendations for someone who could come and sort out?

I just pulled mine out of the wall & put new skirting board over.. AFAIK the only carry the tiniest current.. Nothing's happened.
