Books on weaning?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any books on weaning. Any other tips would be great. My lo is not ready yet but the consultant has adviced we start earlyish due to reflux. I am abit nervous as we finally have reflux symptoms under control and a very happy content baby. We are also likely to have issues with allergy as lo is cmpi and on neocate.

Anyone had experience of this? I just want to try and prepare....

We had reflux, but as it was under control I waited til he was six months and did BlW - used the Gill Rapley book.

I thought that this book (weaning made easy) was excellent. It gives a good overview of both BLW and spoon feeding and also overs allergies, intolerances etc.

The River Cottage baby and toddler book is fabulous.

Little Dish Cookbook has lots of easy recipes that you can make big batches of and freeze.
