Our gastrointestinal tract is filled with trillions of bacteria, both good and bad. These tiny microorganisms are in a battle of good versus evil every day to keep our bodies healthy, and need to be in proper balance to keep everything functioning well. Because approximately 70 percent of our immune system?s cells and tissues exist in the gut, it?s the good bacteria found here that help fight pathogens and viruses that have snuck into our system.

Foods rich in probiotics ~ such as Korean Kimchi ~ support the growth of good bacteria in our bodies, which supports our immune system. Probiotics boost our immunity by helping to regulate the immune system, allowing it to respond more appropriately to external pathogens. However, certain lifestyle habits such as following an unhealthy diet or not taking the time to de-stress can all disrupt the balance of bacteria found in the gut. And in winter, with our immune systems taxed even more, it?s essential to keep our gut health in an optimal state. We'll give advice on simple lifestyle choices to help improve immunity to see you through the Winter months - and beyond!

    • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
