Oh, yes, down the side return too - does anyone have a number for a gardener? I did some trimming in the front garden yesterday with Mrs Bob.

Yes that?s him, the one and the same. Still 20 years in the foreign office probably meant that it took a little while to figure out the complexities and nuances of trading goods across the water from foreigners lands.

Like how the heck are you meant to know these details, if not by working in the Foreign Office. That said, Whitehall is quite a long way from Dover, I?ve read Samuel Pepys diary and it took him days to get there tbh.

So please, let?s cut Dom some slack here.

Raab has a fine tightrope to walk but he seems to have gone all in for Trump now (I think someone from the US has got in touch)

I can only assume from his comments that we would also have killed the guy if we had the opportunity, yes ?

Oh oh, Derek Mackay has now had to resign and Alex Salmond will soon be in court. Peak SNP? All downhill now?

An independent Scotland would not be run by the SNP just like UK post Brexit is not run by UKIP.

I'd expect independent Labour and Tory parties of Scotland.

For context - I didn't vote conservative recently, despite my leaver credentials on this forum. For me the question of government or leave are totally separate.

But, in anycase, after the election I was prepared to give Boris the benefit of the doubt, despite his patchy record with the truth etc. But I must say this forcing out of javid does concern me.

They wanted him to change his advisors, so really they wanted to keep him as a figurehead to show stability, but number 10 would actually make the decisions in the chancellory...

Hmmmm.......

    • I found Leon on EDF and I could not be happier with the work he has completed for us. He changed a number of switches and fitted a ceiling light.  He was polite, tidy and arrived exactly on time. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician 07707 925039
    • What about the places they go to after 11 as it is? I think a lot of the reticence will stem from the fact that someone turning 18 now will ha e loads of school mates who are still only 17 and the liability for serving underage people is huge, plus the loss of profit selling mostly only soft drinks makes 18th birthdays a hard sell in pubs / clubs.
    • The current crimes from what I hear are phone theft from the person, car theft and tradesman vehicle/tools theft. Plus of course the overall increase in stabbings and shootings across London which are becoming normalised.
    • Whilst clearly 'a crime', I don't think this necessarily sits with the other things you have described. A tragic and awful incident certainly, and dreadfully traumatic to the victim, but not part of any 'crime wave' as such, I suspect. It's the sort of thing which, sadly, can happen anywhere (I, again, suspect).
