Parents 70th birthday party venue

I'd be grateful if people could recommend places around SE London that would be good for 30-40 people at a 70th birthday party, especially if you have done something like this yourself. Good food, a bar and a fairly open space.

I'm thinking places like upstairs at the Crooked Well or Camberwell Arms, but more Dulwich way (although I'm not limited to Dulwich).

The Palmerston and The Clockhouse have upstairs rooms for hire too. And the barn thing at The Herne. And The Rosendale over in West Dulwich.. I think.

The Lordship (used to be the Mag) have a function room, they are amazing there! I?ve had a client Xmas party there 5 years in a row.
