O2 Signal?

Is anyone else having no service or your phone consantly searching for network on O2.

Yes there is a service outage affecting lots of customers. We've just had a message via our tech team at work.

Turn off your 3G thingy, and the 2G should work to make your phone a basic call and text phone without the webby bits. If that makes any sense. It worked for me.

strange how some people are affected and some not, I have an iphone and uts worked perfectly the last 24 hours with the 3G on...O2 say the issues are not geographically related allegedly

Well mines been doing this for weeks, not just since yesterday. Call failed, call failed, call failed.

3 people on O2 in the same house. One person affected so it can't be geography. The person affected does have a 4 year old phone and the other 2 are a year old.

I think it was on telly earlier, saw it in a shop window, they were saying cause unknown.

strangely the same day O2 crashed there were significant probs with vodafone too but wasn't mentioned... *shrugs*
