Cheapest way to send parcels to USA

Anyone send parcels (4kg this time) to USA?

Have Googled UPS/DHL etc. and prices seem to be around the ?25-?30 mark - does anyone know of a cheaper carrier/way to send? The parcel is not valuable but surface mail seems to be restricted to 2kg (and then it's ?14 anyway so not cheaper) via PO.

snot cheap to post to the US - I sell "things" sometimes and often require them to go overnight to the west coast - an A3 enveloppe @ .5KG costs ?95 quids

You should try a company called Overland Express, www.overlandexpress.co.uk sent a package with them and it was only ?15.00. They use DHL, but are about half the price!
