Any one see a car accidents on lordship lane today ?

Hi all, i only worked half day today so when so came out at 1 oclock to find 1 side of my black vauxhall astra battered. Its looks like someone has been driving, at speed, to close to the parked cars and unfortuenly my car has beared the brunt of this idiot. I was parked opposite hsbc on the other side of the road to the bank from 8am until 1pm. Anyone see anything ? The car undrivable I had the rac tow it home and I have spent my half a day of on hold to the insurance company. Something im still doing now.

why were you parked there for several hours. I believe there is a strict limit

Well there is a 30 min max. no return within 2 hours..

Point is, it's a bit embarrasing reporting it to the Police.

So will have to grin and bear it or face a hefty fine.

Frankly the story is slightly implausable. Who would leave their car parked illegally for hours in ED especially if they worked here? If the car is so badly damaged it would have made a lot of noise and there are bound to have been witnesses in one of the shops.

Will tom_tom ever return to the forum after his one and only post? I wonder.

Just someone desparate to get a witness. A busted up car is far more serious that a parking infringement And Mr Bus Lane DH you can talk about parking rules!

Penalty Charge Notices aren't issued retrospectively so reporting it would probably be a sensible move. The police should also know about the location of the CCTV on LL.

Hi all lets adress some of the post here.

1. Ive never worked in LL branch before i was merely covering some one off sick. I normally work in our west norwood branch therefore didnt know the rules off parking, didnt bother to check as i was in a rush. Now im expecting a ticket through the door. great. Simple explnation really some people just jump to conclusions.

I hope all have you have managed to pull yourself up from the floor after seeing me return to the floor. Maybe you found a life down there ?

Does anybody really have the time to sit making bogus posts, I certainly dont. Im on this forum for a reasson, unlike dulwich fox who obviously has nothing better to do then pass judgement on someone who didnt read a parking sign. I pitty you :)
