Car hit by bus red post hill 15.20 this afternoon

Hi did anyone see my blue smax being hit by p4 bus this afternoon. My side mirror is gone completely and so is the back of my car damaged. I'm so upset as I have worn tomorrow and it is going to be so difficult to make the journey while having to pick up drop off my four children to school/nursery.

Have you contacted the bus company and your insurance company?

I'm so sorry, it's an absolute pain when something like this happens.

Definitely contact the bus company. Most (if not all) buses have onboard CCTV and there is a good chance the camera will have piced up the collision if you can identify which particular bus it was.

It will be very easy for the bus company to know which p4 was at red post hill at 15.20 on any given day.

poor old buses on Red Post Hill it's like a obstacle course with traffic islands and parked cars!!

Think also of the poor cyclists (I go up it most days) who have impatient motorists following them up the hill itching to get past but restricted by the trafic island\parking chicanes. Most cars are fine but a few end up either cutting cyclists up or overtaking traffic islands on the wrong side.

Dangerous and poorly designed.
