PeckhamRose
"As every day of the Games is different, we will be sending you daily email travel alerts with advice about key hotspots to avoid the following day during the Olympic Games. Please plan ahead. Here is your daily travel information update for tomorrow, Monday 30 July. Tomorrow will be the busiest day of the Games at London Bridge; please avoid this station. If you are travelling to Kent, from platforms 1 - 6, you should avoid London Bridge National Rail station from 18:00 - 22:00 as it will be exit only. Southeastern and First Capital Connect customers are advised to board services from alternative stations such as Charing Cross, Cannon Street, Victoria or Blackfriars."Hi guys, TFL update for Monday 30th, you can get into their webpage and they'll update you every day, but thought this would be useful for some of you Monday. Jeremy
No problems at all at London Bridge this morning. Plenty of olympic volunteers telling everyone where to go, but 95% of the passengers were commuters. I didn't think national rail services would be badly affected, what I've seen so far seems to back that up. Saila
there are no olympic events this morning that would require major use of LB station - they mostly start from 2-4pm this afternoon Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24787-tfl-news-for-monday-30th-july-2012/#findComment-564333 Share on other sites

Plenty of volunteers on hand telling bemused commuters which way to go. Michael Palaeologus
Indeed. More volunteers than commuters. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24787-tfl-news-for-monday-30th-july-2012/#findComment-564600 Share on other sites
Jeremy
In fact it's so quiet, it's almost reminiscent of the Christmas period. I guess a lot of people have taken time off work, due to the combination of the olympics and the school holidays. PeckhamRose
And it all changes today Tuesday - as Central line is closed between Liverpool Street and the Olympics! Yikes! Magpie
TFL have successfully scared the commuters away - the whole thing has the hallmarks of a cunning false flag exercise - ie scare everyone whitless with stories of travel chaos so people take holiday or work from home so the transport system is empty, and all the foreign visitors who were fearful home pleasantly surprised.
