I?d just like to say how sad I am to see the Blue Mountain Cafe latterly the RockSteady Rum Loungs has closed its doors. When Mel first opened on NCR after a small stint at the top of Rye Lane, it was the only cafe to go to. A wonderful place of joy and love. Of chat and baby chinos for our children. The decor was brilliant Mel always welcoming. He was at the vanguard of making East Dulwich the place it is today. What with the loss of Brickhouse, it?s a very sad thing for our neighbourhood

  Suggest put them on the Forum in Classified sections (even if free / not working) as still demand for 90s hifi, especially turntables, amps and cassette decks. Freecycle is good for rehoming stuff as is Gumtree Freebies British Heart Foundation charity shops take electrical items and tests and re-sells them

  Put it in your front garden with a sign saying ‘take me’ - pretty sure it will be snapped up!

  Depends on how good they are. Could try selling/giving away on this site. With the revival in vinyl the deck and amp may be wanted. Car boot sale? Or try the charity shops although not sure about PAT testing.
