Now I know there are seasonal groups for new Mothers to co-ordinate and support each other, and my wife found her group very helpful and made some good friends with our firstborn. I also really enjoyed 'Daddy days' but did find I had to travel to North London if I wanted to arrange a play-date with another Latte Pappa. Now number two is on the way, and although most of us don't have quite as much time for baby pilates as our better halves, I do think it would be great to have a local network of new Dads to help each other out. N.b. I decided not to go seasonal as I don't want to limit it - anyone with a preschooler who does some daddy days during the week is welcome.
