Pebbledash removal

Can anyone recommend a firm that can remove pebbledash from the front of a house and replace with render? I've had one quote but it was pretty high...

I've seen quite a few companies that can strip it off but not many seem to do the second bit. Most are brickwork specialists, whereas I know the bricks on my house won't be good enough to be restored - so they'll need to be covered with a smooth cement or monocouche render.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Is your pebbledash painted?

I absolutely hate pebbledash, but my pebbledashed house is painted white, which reduces the horror a bit :))

You do have to repaint it every now and then, of course :))

You?ll be most welcome to come and see the back of our house where the ghastly pebbledash had to be hacked off and replaced with smooth render that was tinted to sort of match the colour of the original bricks.
