I consider El Pibe's quote as stoking up violent escalation of the situation. Hence my response to clarify EP's actions.

UDT is a reliable UDP based application level data transport protocol for distributed data intensive applications over wide area high-speed networks.


UDT uses UDP to transfer bulk data with its own reliability control and congestion control mechanisms.

The new protocol can transfer data at a much higher speed than TCP does.


UDT is also a highly configurable framework that can accommodate various congestion control algorithms


Are we talking about the same thing ???

Something most other sane countries are doing  We must also not forget the mad relative in the attic.  Brexit.  Something which contributed massively both to the black hole and to the foreseeable future lack of growth  (this is something starmer has also bizarrely tied himself to. Presumably in an attempt to placate the media/loons who think it was a good idea but which will fail in both aims)
