Fresh, hand-cut chips - too much to ask?

Anyone tried chips from the Philips Air Fryer? Tempted to get one of these.

I have, nice chips, though they were using frozen chips as opposed to hand cut chips. Philips were demonstrating them at an interior design exhibition a couple of years ago, I think.

Who knows, with a bit of marketing then you would believe they were connoisseur chips!

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it, but I would always recommend Kens fish and chip shop on half moon lane. Chips always hand cut and cooked fresh, and ken and his son are always lovely! Kens kens kens!

I was quite taken aback to find the Palmerston's 'chips' were actually fries. Having said that, they were good enough to give me something else. Was just surprised somewhere with a good food rep would be using those flavourless approximations of what a good chip should be.
