Coronavirus: NHS boss attacks panic buyers - 'We should all be ashamed'

The latest on the coronavirus outbreak as the death toll soars around the world.

Yes we should be ashamed.

The problem is being created by the panic buyers.

Just shop normally and there isn't an issue with stock.

Recommend listening to today's food programme on Radio 4 "Coronavirus and Food: Your Questions Answered". A rational and informed discussion and update. There is enough food, we have a very much 'just in time' distribution system. The Spanish are ramping up their production. Drivers upping hours - spare a thought (a) generally older and more vulnerable (b) some have got grief for bringing food from the continent particularly Spain and Italy.
