finding a family doctor in ED

I have just moved to the area from Brockley and want to find a family doctor . Someone who will not move on in 6 months which has been our experience before at the Hilly fields practice. Can anyone recommend a doctor or practice that has record of continuity, empathy, and not so busy that it is impossible to get appointment??

We used to be with Forest Hill Road Group Practice, then we moved and joined Hilly Fields, which I found much,much better than FH. So, definitely don't join FH Road Practice if you didn't like HF.

And forget about the Dulwich Medical Practice on Crystal Palace Road. Minimum waiting time for an appointment: 3-4 weeks. Used to be better but a complete shambles now. And you never get to see the same doctor. Do family doctors really still exist? :-)

The gardens surgery is v good, I changed from DMc on cp road which I hated with a passion..
