With thanks to Sally who raised this on the ED issues section, a great article by Jason Leitch, National Clinical Director, Scotland, about getting the right balance in the lockdown. Please give it a listen, its only a few minutes long and nicely explains how you want to avoid unintended consequences of a more severe lockdown - domestic violence, mental health and the economy, and not neglecting other life threatening illness.

My thoughts

a) Maybe you think it's more relevant but other's don't

b) You're just sharing a link to yet another article about Covid 19, of which there are already a billion (my estimate)

c) A cock in a White Maserati is more interesting (evidenced by more people reading it)

d) Bumping your own stuff on the forum is annoying

Hi Mark. Try watching it, and then share your opinion. It was intended to be helpful, that is why I described it briefly but didn't give an opinion. But I do have an opinion, so thanks for asking. I find it informative, being well and credibly presented. I look forward to hearing your response.

    • Please be aware that there is a huge sheet of ice approx 12ft x 6ft on the road at the top end of Avondale Rise on the left hand side approaching Ivanhoe Road.  The council was told earlier this morning, but advised that, due to a reduced service, it is unlikely that grit /salt will be spread before Monday!  Several (thankfully minor) accidents have happened since this morning.  A resident has thoughtfully erected a temporary sign to advise traffic of the hazard, but bearing in mind that temperatures are due to fall to -4 over the weekend and this is on a bus route, please be very careful if driving on this road.
