Pot stolen from steps

A pot full of auriculas was stolen from my steps this morning.

The plants were given to me my father who also fought in the war, so it's particularly upsetting.

I'm posting in the hope of producing their return: I'd just like the pot put back where it was.

This is awful and worrying as I have a lot of pots as well! may I ask what road ?

Crystal Palace Road. I've not had one stolen before, though someone did dig up some snowdrops one year.

I also put a notice up for a few hours, but the statistical likelihood is the Forum.

I'll try filling it with cress, so Colonel Mustard can also be considered if it goes AWOL again.

Nice to know some people still possess a conscience!

conscience is when you don't steal because you don't want to because it's not OK.

returning something after having stolen it is very slightly above no conscience.

Hi, our neighbours on Kelmore Grove had all their window boxes stolen this evening at 6.40pm. I have a Nest camera and managed to capture a few images of the white van who did it. I shared them with my neighbour for any police report. Notice the time stamp - didn?t capture them in the act or their registration plate- but keep an eye out for this van!

A few years back I had three window boxes stolen in the middle of the afternoon :(

I had a woman, mid afternoon in my front garden trying to steal my large teak garden table.

I asked her what she was doing, "taking the table". She looked amused when I asked her to get out and bugger off and didn't seem at all bothered.

Saw something similar on twitter last night in se23 - showed two guys in a similar white van. You can find it on the @JaneCanDoSE4 thread - says the thieves were shown on CCTV stealing expensive plants from front gardens, details were sent to Lewisham police.

Amended to say I've just re-tweeted it to make it easier to find
