Spy in Your Car

I was updating my Garmin Sat nav and noticed a CSV file on it. In it are records of all my long journeys for the last 2 years.

I don't remember asking for this or being told about it but it seems you can spy on someone by looking at their SAT NAV!

So does your mobile provider.. That's how you get billed. Call Detail Record. (CDR)

and also how how calls can be traced months. even years after you made the call.

Someone doesn't need access to your satnav to know where you've been.

There's some incredibly easy ways to avoid that - see how the Chinese and Iranian public circumnavigate their internet restrictions...
