dulwichgirl2
I need ten children's and 4 adult tickets. Not cheap as we have dinner as well after that. :-( Does anyone have any great ideas/know of great offers for cheap tickets? Would be very much appreciated! Curmudgeon
Anything on kids week for the date you want to go http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/feature/kids_week/shows_list.htmlI took my children at the beginning of the summer and were all vaguely disappointed tbh ...perhaps we'd seen the DVD too often and it is just the DVD in stage form with some cool puppetry. Others rave about it. I though Matilda was far superior as a theatre outing tbh Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25280-lion-king-tickets-any-good-sources/#findComment-571786 Share on other sites
dulwichgirl2
Many thanks. Unfortunately the timings won't work but it is a good thing to hear about. Ps we saw Matilda and LOVED it. Excellently done. Disappointed to learn TLK is not as enthralling. reneet
Nothing tops The lion, the witch and the wardrobe, was at Kensington gardens and my daughter loved it. I was pretty impressed as well. Curmudgeon
The lion the witch and the wardrobe is ok, if you can ignore the abysmal folk music style score IMHO, and as its in the round there's no bad seating. You should be able to get relatively cheap tickets as it hasn't been an overwhelming success http://www.lovetheatre.com/tickets/2718/The-Lion-the-Witch-and-the-Wardrobe?gclid=CJqY0sKkirICFQMNfAod6FEA_w Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25280-lion-king-tickets-any-good-sources/#findComment-572264 Share on other sites
dulwichgirl2
Thank you. Theatre monkey has a comprehensive list for normal shows and I am trying to find a club that my mother insists exists run by Ambassadors. It has apparently 25pc off constantly and costs around 20 pounds to join.
