Great news! (oops, no pun intended....) Planning a few treats for partner's birthday next week, and a stroll to one of our much missed favourite locals will go down nicely.

(and don't worry KK, we'll take our own glasses, assuming that's allowed)

most gracious, and much appreciated !

Anyone on foot passing the Great Exhibition (and interested in any kind of social distancing) be warned that Great Exhibition area pavements are effectively blocked by people drinking beer, including across the road and even round the corner on Landells !

The takeaway beer is not being taken away.

It looks like many are purchasing and then drinking nearby obviously with no beer garden, not being minded to take the beer home (probably because they're doing rounds), and staying nearby the pub it's making it difficult to stay away from other humans safely.

Basically walk in the road or don't social distance that's your choice right now !

    • The empty shelves is well reported, but the sewage smell has been awful for weeks if not months, and just keeps getting worse. It started off near the Costa machine/ behind the delivery and collections booth thing, but now it hits you the second you walk in the store. I’m amazed nothing (visibly at least) appears to be going on to fix it. Somewhat relieved it’s not just me who can smell it!
