The world will do nothing about China and it?s domination of Hong Kong.

Reason?

1.China is the worlds most powerful country and will do what it wants.

2.the other countries don?t really care.

I'm appalled by Boris and his chums, but I do think it would be a shame to hear the negative, aggressive sound of booing after the quite uplifting and positive sounds of clapping at a time when lots of us are feeling stressed already. Might even frighten some people who don't know what its about...

The question is why boo? It seems to be a British way of showing disapproval. So what is wrong with booing, particularly if it is clear who you are booing at (a little late to show disapproval of Dylan for going electric). Not sure why there are so many po faced people on line. Cheer if you wish.

Dylan denying there is a problem, sounds familiar

Here's another clip, this time of young people showing disapproval at a former PM - as featured at the end of a documentary on protest music by the Great John Peel

Also had the pleasure of being at the Bastille Day celebrations at the French Embassy when the then Foreign Secretary got boo'd by a very exclusive audience shortly after the referendum, during his mummbly speech

    • Went to a fireworks display maybe 20 years ago at the Crystal Palace, it wasn't bonfire night, can't remember why it was being held, Capital Radio were there. There were people hanging from a crane, classical music, and quiet fireworks,  It was lovely, still dramatic with the colours but no loud bangs. Not sure why this hasn't become the norm.

    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
