Shoes for pre walkers

Convex

Recommended Posts

My son is crawling and cruising but not standing without support or walking.

Normally I leave him barefoot but we are going on holiday somewhere I dont want him to be barefoot (insects, unfamiliar bugs, etc)

What sort of shoes do I need? Pram shoes? Proper shoes? Argh.

My daughter was at this stage for ages. We went to the shoes place in ED warehouse and got a pair of pre walkers. They were very soft but had a much more structured sole than moccasins. She is now in her second pair of early walker shoes now she is walking but these are rubber sole and quite a bit more rigid, but still not proper shoes if you get my drift. So there are a couple of different kinds I think. I have always found the ED warehouse lady very helpful and also the staff at biff in the village.

    • Has seemed really empty over the past few weeks, with hardly anyone in the store on Thursday lunchtime, have I missed something or are people shopping somewhere else?
    • SE23 has always been known as the over spill to SE22, for those that wish but can't afford it, however look at all the benefits SE23 has to offer, as they say, the choice is yours, oh, sorry wrong show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • I highly recommend James. I had a few sets of lights (indoor and outdoor) that were no longer working. I texted him yesterday afternoon about the problematic lights, and he had fixed them all by this morning! Very happy that he investigated the issues and found fixes, rather than immediately saying I needed to replace everything, which was the standard response by others. I had other electricians (many who are recommended on this forum) that came round to inspect the work and told me I'd need to replace the lot for a substantial cost. Extremely professional and prompt with very reasonable pricing.
    • Indeed and possibly because with such an extensive wish list as stated, it will be a nigh on impossible to achieve a suitable property for that budget, outside the Village or Alleyn Park area. Even then, all wishes being equal, it would need  > £3m to get a suitable  property.  Compromise  would seem appropriate therefore , which suggests rating each "wish" in order of priority.
