otherclaire
Hi allDoes anyone know of any bars showing the Murray match tonight? Alan Medic
Can't help I'm afraid but as it starts at 9pm it's likely to go on for at least 3 to 4 hours. Someone who knows which pubs stay open that late might be able to narrow it down for you. Asset
I also want to know, I think it's bloody outrageous that Murdoch has a stranglehold on this. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25548-us-open-tennis/#findComment-575819 Share on other sites

mlteenie
Ha Ha, I'll be the one pacing around and shouting "C'mon Andy!!!!" and generally getting over-excited.I listened to the semi on Radio 5 and it's just not the same....Erm, wrong account - Asset actually. Atticus
Asset Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> I also want to know, I think it's bloody> outrageous that Murdoch has a stranglehold on> this.Asset, it's taken you until the (postponed) final to realise The US is only on Sky. From this, I surmise you're hardly a die-hard fan of the sport. So, for your part at least, you should be happy that the Beeb et al aren't squandering their resources on this tournament. Hardly outrageous. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25548-us-open-tennis/#findComment-575945 Share on other sites

Mick Mac
Does anyone else find men's tennis boring? Monotonous returns down the middle of the court for hours on end ? Federer is the honourable exception. I'm going to bed. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25548-us-open-tennis/#findComment-576026 Share on other sites
grecian girl
.. you just missed an amazing first set tiebreaker!! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25548-us-open-tennis/#findComment-576038 Share on other sites
Mick Mac
I saw it actuallly and it was good, but the tie breakers tell a story in that the normal 12 games cannot settle the set. That because they keep knocking it back to each other waiting for unforced errors. But enough of that. Come on Andy. You can win this. Asset
Actually, British Eurosport have shown the odd match too. Somewhat bizarre scheduling but I guess due to Sky's priority.
