Animated film tips without too much "mild peril" ?

Hello All,

My little un loves Disney Princess and singy animated thingies but the Disney films are full of "mild peril" which she finds scary being but 2.

Anyone got any tips on some nice happy singy dvds that won't upset.

At that age my oldest liked The King and I and Annie get your gun. Not animated but plenty of singing!

yes someone at work just suggested Winnie the Pooh and the blustery day I think it was.

Must root out King and I though as I'll enjoy that too and she will love the dresses.

Mr Benn threw my 2 year old into a complete stew, not because it was scary (she doesn't like scary things like the sharks in Nemo, though is fine with Baloo and Shere Khan having a fight in the Jungle Book, go figure) but she was so overexcited by it she didn't go to sleep until 10pm that night. So it's been banned in our house for the mo. Also, there's no singing. I have the King and I, might try it out on her! And I got Happy Feet from a friend, no idea if there's singing, but another friend said it was very boring so I assume no 'mild peril' so fine by me! And cute little Elijah Wood doing the voice.

Snow White isn't too bad - there is one scary scene but it didn't really scare my daughter. She has been more scared by sleeping beauty and tangled and beauty and the beast - though fine after one run through holding my hand!

I wanted to take her to see Brave but then realised it was PG - lots of her friends have been but I';m not too comfortable taking her to a PG .

My 5.5 year old boy is terrified of Snow White - my 4 year old daughter and I have to watch it when he's not at home!

We got all the Trumpton dvds when my daughter was 2 - they are brilliant!
