i live in a block with a communal post room on grove vale, i don't know if the same postman serves us but your experiences make me think he/she does. instead of posting letters in the individual boxes they just dump the lot on a table. a note was also placed alongside recently declaring that it was just simply quicker. i've no doubt this is true however it strikes me as a bit lazy quite frankly, there are aspects of my job i don't particularaly enjoy doing but they are necessary and i get on with them. thoughts??
That's strange, we haven't experienced any problems like that and we're on EDG too. The usual postman is very good, is it possible that a different postman works different ends of the road? I will ask him if I see him tomorrow if someone new has started or if the road is divided between 2 postmen...

    • I was not suggesting anything else!   I'm not sure how you interpret what I said  as "irrelevant"? I was responding to a post saying that Corbyn was "unelectable". My point was that a  large number  of the electorate  voted for him!
    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
