Looks like there's five paving slabs between ESPH and the bus stop and six between the PO bust stop and the dry cleaners. The difference being that there's often a queue of people outside the post office in that six tile space, whereas at the stop outside ESPH people queue alongside the road for the bus. singalto
Foxy, the Freedom Pass works from 9.00. I have just checked the TfL website. If I have an early hospital appointment, I simply pay to use public transport. DulwichFox
I do have an old Oyster Card. Not sure it would still work. I got it at a time before you needed to give any details. tomskip
Most people just use an ordinary contactless bank card to pay on the bus. bonaome
You can't pay with cash, so it's either an Oyster or just use a contactless bank card. Just be super careful to always use the same card to make sure you get charged the correct price and benefit from daily and weekly capping. NB: monthly capping doesn't apply to contactless yet, so if you're going to be travelling several times per week a monthly travel card might be better value and you can only get that on an Oyster as far as I know. Pugwash
We keep a couple of Oyster cards to give to relatives who live outside London when they are visiting us. Top them up once or twice a year. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/261103-bus-stop-outside-the-cinema/page/2/#findComment-1448068 Share on other sites
