Hi, I would fully recommend my handy man keith he is excellent - I have used him for years now the other week I had a leaking shower there was no explanation as to why I wasn't bothered about a water meter being charged I was more concerned of wastage wanted it fix. As always an A class service even tightened my toilet seat without my knowledge and without charge. such a lovely man. highly recommended hes number is: 07716823333 if you need a reference I'm more than happy for you to pm me. all the best mel
Hi, i would totally recommend Franco, an italian handyman and electrician whom I've found here and who has done so many jobs for me since I met him. He is quick, reliable, efficient, a natural problem solver, always cleans after himself and a jack of all trades (I'm seriously in awe of how many things he is able to do!) Text him on 07417 507116.
I too would like to recommend Vince . Always done great work for the many jobs I?ve asked him to do such is painting , fixing blinds up and curtains and pretty much anything I?ve he requested he managed to carry out . Very polite and helpful and will continue to use him for jobs as I have been for a long time. Hope that helps his number is 07951094961 as listed.

Hi, I can also highly recommend Franco (see above). I've had him do various small jobs like hanging heavy mirrors, assembling a bed frame, changing the cord on a ceiling light fixture, removing another ceiling light fixture & installing a new one, etc. His pricing is very reasonable & his attention to detail/quality of work is *excellent*, always exact & precise.

On top of that, he's polite, punctual, & always checks w/you if some detail of the work comes up that needs deciding on (but otherwise just gets on w/the job efficiently w/o bothering you!). His spoken English is limited (as any non-native speaker's might be), so text or Whatsapp is best for enquiries. Will def hire him again in future, very happy to have found him thru this forum! :)

I can highly recommend Merouane.Reasonably priced quote, attentive to detail, got the job done, very thorough and great workmanship on replacing my garden gate. Swept up after the job and took away the old gate for disposal.

Give him a call!

    • what type of car was it, if they are in demand, might be helpful info.
    • Which has, unfortunately, closed. Au Ciel is much better than Gail's. Big bakery in the parade of shops near Rocca in Dulwich Village with all the seats outside - you can't miss it. Normally a big queue outside at weekends with walkers and cyclists topping up on carbs and coffee!
    • Hi, just to say there was an attempted car theft at the FH end of Underhill over Friday night. Without wanting to go into all the detail, they were pretty adamant and took a great deal of time to (try) take the car. The police came within minutes, and drove around etc.. The police said the car was in demand at the moment. I don’t know if that was brand or model. notwithstanding what the police said, all car owners should be vigilant and neighbours. These thieves were interrupted twice by neighbours, but the thieves came back etc and the neighbours didn’t put 2+2 together as to what was happening to the car. The thieves were two guys, on the cctv it looked like they were wearing grey, but it may have been black (cctv can look odd at night). My neighbours said they were black. They had a bag with them, no doubt carrying tools and they may have been dropped off by a car, that is being investigated.  Take care!!
