  1. I like FM Mangal in Camberwell, has delicious vegetarian mezes & mains - most Turkish places do! Similarly, Yada's Kurdish Food now has a restaurant on Rye Lane that ppl rave about - there's a pic of the menu on Google Maps that shows their vegan/vegetarian options. I've not tried it but Flamin Mangal on Rye Lane has good reviews?
  2. I def recommend Dave at McHow 07814 833 352 - if you search this forum, there are many more recommendations for him. I just had him remove my kitchen radiator & sort/balance the other 3 radiators in my flat- as usual, he was quick, pleasant, unobtrusive (my flat is small!) & very affordable. He brought in a water hoover (?), rags, etc. so there was literally no mess in the kitchen afterwards for me to clean up, I was amazed! I've had him do gas/boiler jobs for me 3 other times as well. Highly recommend.
  3. Hi, I can also highly recommend Franco (see above). I've had him do various small jobs like hanging heavy mirrors, assembling a bed frame, changing the cord on a ceiling light fixture, removing another ceiling light fixture & installing a new one, etc. His pricing is very reasonable & his attention to detail/quality of work is *excellent*, always exact & precise. On top of that, he's polite, punctual, & always checks w/you if some detail of the work comes up that needs deciding on (but otherwise just gets on w/the job efficiently w/o bothering you!). His spoken English is limited (as any non-native speaker's might be), so text or Whatsapp is best for enquiries. Will def hire him again in future, very happy to have found him thru this forum! :)
  4. I bought a flat in July & have needed to use Dave &/or his colleague Josh 4 times now due to various gas/boiler/radiator issues caused by the previous owner :( . Highly recommend their services! As others say, their pricing is very reasonable & they're always pleasant, polite, & efficient-- lovely to deal with. Very pleased w/their work & will keep using in future. :)
  5. Not local, but if you can go private, I've been very happy w/my dermatologist at the Cadogan Clinic, Dr A Granite. I see her for acne. (The medication I've literally used for decades (Retin-A) stopped being available on the NHS (despite being available in the EU, US, and every other developed country!), so only private drs can prescribe & dispense it.)
  6. Hi, are you still looking for work? I'm in SE15. I've 1-2 hours of small handywoman jobs in my flat (hanging a full-length mirror, etc.). Thanks!
