Don't leave bottles of potentially dangerous stuff - such as fire lighting fluid - on the pavement outside your house. It may end up in the wrong hands, for example, nutters on Ivydale Rd.

Full marks to Katie ;-) Someone had left a bottle of fire lighting fluid outside their house alongside some charcoal with the intention that someone else might want it, I guess. Whilst well-intended, it seemed completely misguided - gave me the shivers given recent news - so I tucked it back behind their front wall.


If you look up Ivydale Rd, ladida, you will see it's not far from ED - which is why I posted in the Lounge.

    • Without doubt.. just seem to expect others or council to deal with it…no, don’t think it is that …just the fact that people these days are working hard, tired, stressed.. what were houses are now converted into flats…there is community spirit, well hope so.. neighbours hardly see one another, let alone know each other as work schedule is no longer 7/9 …only older more established people who have lived in area, and not making a quick buck, understand… people don’t even have the time to talk to neighbours unless annoyed or complaining.. when was the last time one smiled and said hello..or even started a conversation in a queue?
