KidKruger
Wow. Imagine wanting to criticise someone on the basis of their apparent education. Even cheaper behaviour. We got a proper double-act here. skibunny
KidKruger...I think using foul language ('slag') , putting people down ('cheaper behaviour') and sexism is the lowest of the low, perhaps someone with a higher intelligence would realise this!!! StraferJack
since when is using the phrase "slag off" the same as calling someone a "slag"what is the objection to "slag off"? How is it "foul language"? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/26391-butcher-near-sainsburys-lordship-lane/page/4/#findComment-776568 Share on other sites
chinny
I've used this butcher many times, never had a problem with any produce. Bacon and sausages very tasty. Also had lamb, duck breasts, steak, chicken, and eggs. All at a lot less than I've been charged at WR and flock and field. On top of which he's helpful and a traditional butcher... He does what every butcher should do, but the aforementioned don't... He trims the meat BEFORE he puts it on the scales, so your not paying for a lot of excess fat. david_carnell
RSPALondon - Did the BBC find there is no such thing as an over-zealous RSPCA prosecution?DulwichBorn&Bred - you'll be delighted to hear that your grass fed meat creates far more methane than grain fed. That is a massive global warming issue. Worth adding to your paleononsense diet pros and cons columns.I like the butcher in question. Has gifted me butchery accessories before now and entertained a grumpy toddler in my company with a squeaky pig toy. Not many you can say that about. It's just too far away for me to use regularly. david_carnell
I'm talking about methane. Not carbon dioxide. Methane is a far worse greenhouse gas than co2.
