Help with book idea please

Needed some ED Forum help please: we have a childrens group reading rota at the church which we attend and I am meant to read the under 1-4s a story on Remembrance Sunday. And I need to find a childrens book around that theme.

They are too young, I think to understand the concept of war, but any thoughts on books with a theme of remembrance in it, or maybe children who have a disagreement and then make up and the importance of forgiveness(feel like I am clutching at straws here a bit!)

Any ideas would be hugely helpful! Thank you
