Yes. I did it last friday.

there are 10 seats and 20 standing released at 1030 for each show. plus any returns if they have them (unlikely)

getting there at 9 you might get standing. some of the last of the queue got there around 9. But I would go a bit earlier if i was you as it is the last week. more like 8 if you want to be sure of a ticket. count how many in the queue when you get there, it's max 2 tickets per person.

I got there at 530 and I was 3rd in the queue so I got a pair of seats! but that was quite a crazy thing to do I realise. not as crazy as the couple who had been there since 130am tho.

more people came at 630, then from 7 through til 9ish.

if you do get standing there is a bar you can lean on and the view is pretty good.

the show is fab. Chiwetel Ejiofor is amazing. the rest of them are good too but he is quite astonishingly great.

Hello Nero - I am going to Othello this on Thursday - I really can't wait - have been looking forward to it a long time. Why not call the nice folk in the box office at the Donmar and ask them what time the queue forms. They will have this information and will pass it on.

If you haven't already booked up for the Donmar West End series (2007 - 2008) then do so NOW - that is selling out fast.

We went in January (tickets finally booked after 4 hours trying to get through by phone on the day the tickets were released...) and bumped into friends who had queued (on a Saturday) from 6am to get tickets - they were 3rd and 4th in the queue. I'm sure if you get up that early you'll end up falling asleep during the performance thought... :'(

I would highly recommend membership of the Donmar Warehouse as it only costs from ?30 a year and it gives priority booking. Given that almost all Donmar productions sell out quickly it really is money well spent. I booked my Othello tickets one month before they went on public sale and got the best stalls seats in the house, for the night I wanted them, thus avoiding the frenzy that was the Othello public ticket sale.

The Donmar is incredibly loyal to its "friends". As soon as Othello was announced they closed the books to new members, thus stopping people joining just to get Othello tickets. I was told by the Donmar box office that the bulk of the tickets for Othello went to existing members in the priority booking period and that only a few were left for the public sale. The Donmar could have made a lot of money from selling new memberships if it hadn't closed its books, but it chose instead to look after the existing members.

Call the Donmar Development office on 020 7845 5815 and ask about Backstage Crew membership - ?30 is really good value.

However I think all women moderate their behaviour when on their own, walking at night especially as they fear danger. Two interesting articles https://www.statista.com/statistics/288298/female-victims-of-homicide-england-and-wales-by-relationship-to-offender/?srsltid=AfmBOoqZ9-CIEJWe9kesKy2G_KWxjXPh-tXMRsLvKim0M6mS00dksiKH https://www.theguardian.com/education/2025/sep/23/majority-of-girls-and-young-women-in-uk-alter-behaviour-to-feel-safe-study-finds?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other   Other crimes https://crimerate.co.uk/london personally I always go for the most crowded train carriage late evening and I carry my keys in my hand when walking from the train station…. • What ever they decide I would have thought that the skate park would not be staying but really hope I am wrong as in my minds eye, I see the skate park as potential parking spaces after all if it is going to be community, flats, retail units, cafe, etc folks are going to want to have the parking availability - Amir like the parade of shops opposite. if the skate park goes then I think it is Dulwich Estate obligation to find another suitable area… a lot of community spirit and hard work went into developing the skate park and the youngsters should be very proud of what they have done  and achieved.
    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…
