Hello,

Any interior types that can help? I have just painted my living room in Little Greene's French grey and disappointed in how lilac it looks. Yes, I did use a match pot and was obsessive about which colour to go for. If you Google images this colour, you'll see what I was aiming for.

Anyway, could anyone advise which colour accessories to go for to counteract the blue- lilac tones? Thanks.

The problem is, the same paint will look different in different lights and on different walls.

What you can do is to still use a trial pot, but instead of painting direct on the wall paint some large-ish sheets of paper.

Then you can put them in different places in the room and see how they look at different times of day and in natural and artificial light.

I agree you should re-paint it. You'll never be happy with it if it isn't what you want now, however you try to accessorize it.

ETA: Sadly though, you may not be able to get the absolute exact colour you want. I had a particular shade in mind, couldn't get a match at all and ended up with my default position of white :(

We live in a democracy and if we have enough people willing to give it up then judging those people foolish enough to do so is not only something that will happen, it is something that the rest of us should be morally compelled to do  if someone wouldn’t “normally” vote for a racist party yet somehow will do so because they hear someone like me saying that would be bad, then you better believe I’m judging them

They now seem to turn to Reform at the first opportunity. So your life is 'shite', let;s blame someone else.  Whilst sounding a bit like a Tory, taking some ownership/personal responsibility would be a start.  There are some situations where that may be more challenging, in deindustrialised 'left behind' wasteland we can't all get on our bikes and find work.  But I loathe how it is now popular to blame those of us from relatively modest backgrounds, like me, who did see education and knowledge as a way to self improve. Now we are seen by some as smug liberals......
