Protest on Rye Lane 17th Nov

I was walking down Rye Lane on Saturday 17th Nov and there were protesters trying to stop people going into 2 of the shops near the station (think one of them was called Ash). They didn't actually explain why people should boycott this stores.

Any ideas what their gripe was about?

I think this goes back a while, there was a thread on it with allegations against Khan's but I think it's been deleted.

I was on Rye Lane on Sat, in the Nigerian takeaway behind the protestors in the photo (in above link), but didn't see anything - what time was it ?
