Otta
Maritap, can I ask how long ago your first daughter left home? I can't imagine an 18 year old getting council accommodation these days! maritap
Hi Ottawa, she's 38 now so 20yrs ago. That's what I'm saying. My 29yr old is still living at home with an 8yr old and find it virtually impossible to get a property whether it be council or not. Private renting is almost as much as a mortgage. Things have changed drastically . She was working at the time and also her partner, and they are still together and have my almost 16yr old grandson. Otta
Yeah, very little chance of getting council housing these days. We rent, and will be renting for ever because there is nout left to save, and how does one save up ?70k odd for a deposit?Anyway, sorry, getting off topic.
