Halloween tidy-up

The decorations outside were welcome and inventive but please take them down now. There?s already wisps of nylon cobweb (nasty for wildlife to eat or get snagged up in) and pumpkins in the street (nice for the birds, maybe, but also for rats). It?ll soon be time for Christmas (by which I mean December) so you?ll be able to dress up your fronts again soon.

I always assumed Halloween stuff could stay until just after Guy Fawkes night (like 12th night for Xmas)

But no proof of that.

Yes...what happened to that 'debonair family man', who was 'quite the socialite' down surbiton way.....
