So I booked the swim classes for my nine month old. But did I read the instructions until today? Of course not.

I have a reusable swim nappy but the course instructions state that all babies are wearing the Neoprene Happy Nappy swim nappy (from Splashabout). Does anyone have one I could borrow? Just for today?

Fingers and toes crossed

I just went to check and the one we have is 0-6 months and I remember being an incredibly tight squeeze to squish her into it even when my daughter was that age so no good for a 9 month old boy I fear, I know they sell them in Jojo Maman Bebe if you can get there in time?
Ah thanks so much Hellosailor - I didn't think of Jojo as the swim nappy I bought there is not that brand. But I've checked the website and you're right! Hoorah! Fingers crossed they have the little piglet's size!

Darn! They don't stock them in store during the winter.

The swimming company has been really nice and said he can just double up on his other swim nappies but if any one knows anywhere else locally where they stock them, please let me know.

I have kindly been lent a couple by a dear poster. And others were also generous enough to offer.

It's lovely to be reminded how helpful people are and how this forum is such a fantastic resource. I feel very lucky.

Now I've just go to get through the swim lesson itself!

    • I can't answer your question. But on them generally: it's changed hands in the last year or so, I think. I paid £35 for interior and exterior and they did a crap job. I'll go to the one on Herne Hill (or just do it myself if health allows) next time.
    • Aria came round to fix my tub drain when I'd messed up the seal. Came within hours, fixed the tub, and ran a bath to make sure it was okay. Here's where the fun starts. While he was over, I asked him questions about the rest of the plumbing round the house. I had just moved into a Victorian home that was previously being rented. Unsurprisingly, we found another leak in the tub and a drip in the kitchen tap.  He came back the next day to put a better pipe in my bathtub and replace the kitchen sink. Painstakingly figured out how to replace the hard-to-access kitchen sink without cutting through the wood panel with the help of his builder friend, Mark. Answered all my questions and clearly knew his stuff. All this right before Christmas holidays!
    • Was that the one where you put a coin in and it squirted water at you? what was the name of the one in hanway street - whatever you ordered it came on a segmented tray like you get in prison (I imagine). Prices were a steal.
